Optimal Detection

The TG3 is compatible with the FLIR TAU2 or the Vue Pro (R) and is available in a highly sensitive 30, 40 or 50mK thermal image variant. This sensitivity ensures accurate temperature measurements, ideal for analysis and telemetry. Depending on the chosen camera model, you have 336x256 or 640x512 pixels (30hz or 9hz). The thermal imaging cameras are available in 3 common lens options to suit any application. The TG3 is 3-axis stabilized, guarantees smooth, clear images and can be controlled remotely with the DRONExpert FLIR Touch Remote.

Compatibility

Easy Installation

The DRONExpert TG3 is compatible with the Matrice 100, Matrice 200/210-series, Matrice 300-series, Matrice 600, Inspire 1 and Inspire 2. With the help of mounting adapters, the TG3 can also be interchanged. In addition, it is also possible to install the TG3 on various other brands of drones (customization)

Developed for inspections

Radiometric

The TG3 is supplied with a radiometric thermal camera as standard.

This means that each pixel has a calibrated temperature value. With the "DRONExpert FLIR Touch Control" you can remotely start recording radiometric images, which can also be used for subsequent analysis (eg FLIR Tools or Pix4D). This makes the TG3 very suitable for inspections.

If you want to install a non-radiometric camera, ask about the options.

Perceive faster with

DRONExpert Auto Hotspot Detection

Indispensable in many applications: the DRONExpert Auto Hotspot Detection.

When the contrast of the temperatures is close to each other, then quickly detecting an object with thermal image is very difficult (see photo on the left). With the DRONExpert Automatic Hotspot Detection you will immediately receive a message in your display when a hotspot is detected by your thermal camera, this is possible by measuring based on the temperature value in the pixel. The threshold value of this function is adjustable as desired, so that almost any desired object can be detected.

This functionality is indispensable for Search and Rescue, but can also be used when searching for wildlife, birds and eggs or for industrial inspections and solar panel checks.

The person in the forest is difficult to recognize and chances are you will fly over it without detection.

The person in the forrest is quickly and automatically recognized

GPS hotspot

GPS Auto Hotspot Detection

This function is identical to the regular "Auto Hotspot Detection", but with the "GPS Auto Hotspot Detection" the relative GPS coordinates of the measured hotspot are also realtime displayed.

For example with "Search and Rescue" you can have real-time GPS coordinates of the person.

The measured hotspot is provided with GPS coordinates

Geotagging

Optionally, the setup can be equipped with a geotagger. This ensures that the radio-metrically recorded thermal photos are provided with coordinates.

Realtime Thermal and RGB

Dual Camera Setup

The thermal drone setup is equipped with dual cameras (RGB/thermal). This means that you have daylight and thermal imaging at your disposal simultaneously.

The thermal image is very suitable for detection and the RGB image is perfect for recognition.

Thermal control at your fingertips

Capacitive Touch Remote

The DRONExpert Mavic 2 Thermal Gimbal is equipped with the new DRONExpert FLIR Touch Remote, with which you can fully control the thermal FLIR camera remotely.

The DRONExpert FLIR Touch Remote is indispensable for professional applications. Examples of what you can operate remotely with the remote control are:

Adjustable frequency / Band / Power

For Worldwide Use

In order to be able to use the mount worldwide, it is equipped with an adjustable video transmitter. This way you can adjust the following settings yourself:

Dronexpert Tripod

The optional tripod provides optimal comfort during your flights. The thermal LCD and DJI remote can be installed onto the tripod and can be charged through an integrated battery holder (drone battery)

The tripod is equipped with the appropriate drone battery (with USB hub).

Don't need thermal on a flight?

Easily detachable

Don’t you need a thermal camera during your flight? You can remove the thermal gimbal within a few seconds.

Fly and Save

DRONExpert SAR and SAR+ app

With the DRONExpert SAR flight app you can easily and quickly pre-program the ideal flight route and record the location of the found “hotspot” in the App at the touch of a button. By default, the coordinates of the Drone are used after taking an RGB photo right above the object. If you want to fly even more efficiently and be able to use the coordinates of the Hotspot of your thermal imaging camera, then there is the DRONExpert SAR + option. With the optional special WiFi remote and the DRONExpert GPS Auto Hotspot Detection, you can use your WiFi remote to directly save the hotspot in the SAR app, this way the drone can just fly the waypoint route.

With both the SAR and the SAR + option, you immediately have the option to send the coordinates by SMS to third parties, to save them in Google Maps or to export them as a KML file.
