Description

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual:

Is the brother of the Mavic 2 Enterprise Zoom. The devices are the same, but both are equipped with a different camera. The Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual is equipped with two cameras side by side, a color and a thermal imaging camera. This ensures that users can easily measure temperatures and store photos and temperature data for analysis afterwards. This makes this a valuable tool for various purposes, from inspections to emergencies.

Powerful and Compact Thermal Camera

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual features a 3 axis gimbal, equipped with a 4k camera sensor for color image, and a FLIR sensor for thermal data. These 2 cameras combined offer visibility in both day and night situations, and also under conditions with for example a lot of smoke or fog. The pilot can switch between different display modes in the DJI Pilot app to display the data from both cameras:

Flir MSX: This mode combines the image of the thermal image and the color camera, and mixes them together into one image. This ensures that you see the temperature of the thermal image, with the contrast of the color camera. Because of this you see a lot of detail, and things like text (which you would not only see with thermal image) in 1 image.
Spot Meter: This allows you to measure the temperature at a specific spot in the image, for example to quickly see if something is overheated.
Isotherm: Allows the pilot to set a certain temperature range to be displayed with a chosen color palette. This makes it possible, for example, to set the range to people’s body temperature, so that they are easily identifiable.
In addition to the aforementioned DUAL camera with colors and thermal imaging, the device has the same functions as the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Zoom Universal Edition:

Modular accessories for specific applications and extensive functionalities

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise has an expansion port on the top of the device. Various accessories can be securely mounted on this expansion port, which can then be operated via the flight app. These new accessories provide new possibilities and make the Mavic 2 Enterprise a complete and configurable device.

At the moment the following accessories are available:

M2E Spotlight: The Spotlight is a floodlight with 2 bright LEDs, which together have a brightness of no less than 2400 lumens. This Spotlight is ideal for illuminating dark subjects, or for performing rescue operations in the dark, for example.
M2E Speaker: The Speaker is a loudspeaker with a volume of no less than 100 decibels, with which you can play up to 10 own voice messages. This makes it very easy to communicate remotely with people on the ground while the drone is a long way away.
M2E Beacon: The Beacon is a bright flash (strobe) which fully complies with the FAA Night Waiver Standards. The flash light of the Beacon is visible up to 5 km away. This makes the execution of flights in twilight or dark a lot safer, because the device is clearly visible to others.

Extensive data security functions

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise is equipped with a number of new features to ensure the integrity of photos, videos, flight logs and other data during sensitive missions. First, the Mavic 2 Enterprise has 24 GB internal memory, which can be secured with a password. This ensures full locking of all data stored in the device. With the password lock enabled, the user must enter the password in one of the following actions:

Activating the device;
Linking to a remote controller;
Access to the built-in memory and the data stored on it.
This ensures secure access to the data and also to protect the data if the device falls into the wrong hands physically.

Furthermore, the device has a new GPS Time Stapping function, which encrypts the time, date and location of each stored image in the photo. This ensures certainty about which photo or video was made where and at what time, facilitating use for critical inspections or as evidence.

As last data function, the Local Data Mode has been added. If this function is activated, any communication with the internet is interrupted, so no data is sent or received via the internet. This ensures extra safety during use during sensitive operations.

DJI Airsense

DJI Airsense is also built into the Mavic 2 Enterprise. DJI Airsense consists of an ADS-B receiver built into the device, which can receive the ADS-B signals from aircraft with an ADS-B Transponder. These signals are then forwarded to the remote, where you can see the planes on the map in the app that are receiving a signal. In addition, DJI Airsense gives a warning at the moment that one of these aircraft gets too close, so you can move on time. This ensures extra safety when used in pressurized airspace.

Designed for fast, reliable and safe flights

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise uses DJI’s FOC engines combined with efficient propellers to ensure a quiet and efficient flight. This also ensures a top speed of 72 km / h, and a flight time of up to 31 minutes. The addition of the heating element in the battery ensures that the Mavic 2 Enterprise is also suitable for flights in cold conditions, up to -10ºC.

The Mavic 2 Enterprise uses DJI Ocusync 2.0 for the (video) connection. This ensures a very stable connection with a high image quality, even at great distances.

In terms of sensors, the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise uses the Airsense receiver, the same sensors as the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom. The device has 8 optical and 2 infrared sensors, for around obstacle detection. Thanks to these sensors, the device also has Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS), which allows the drone to avoid self-contained objects
